When a buyer asks ChatGPT which product to pick, ChatGPT can search the web first. The pages it finds are the pages it can quote.
Example: Plane
Plane makes project management software. From October 12 to 15, ChatGPT ran 124 searches while it wrote 48 answers to the buyer questions in Plane’s project. The Queries tab groups those searches into terms. Here are two of them.
- Named Plane
- 0 of 12 · 0%
- Not named
- 12 answers
- ChatGPT searched it

The first term is a gap: ChatGPT searches it often, and the answers name other tools. The second is a strength to keep.
What to do next
Start with your gaps. Search the term yourself and read the pages that come up. Then look for a page on your own site that answers the same search. If you have one, put the answer near the top. If you do not, that is the next page to write.
After your next scans, open the term again and compare.
